
Arya News Agency -The Deputy Commander of the Central Headquarters of Hazrat Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH), referring to the lessons learned from the 12-day war experience, stressed the necessity of institutionalizing the strategic thinking of passive defense across all executive bodies of the country.
Brigadier General Kiomars Heidari, during a visit to the Passive Defense Organization, was briefed on the latest measures and achievements of this organization in confronting modern threats and recent events, including the 12-day war. In this meeting, Brigadier General Gholamreza Jalali, head of the Passive Defense Organization, presented a comprehensive report on the planning processes and executive actions of the organization.
His report included topics such as reducing the vulnerability of the country's critical infrastructure, increasing resilience against crises, intelligent management of emerging risks, design and implementation of preventive plans, development of inter-sectoral coordination, and enhancement of human capital through specialized training.
Brigadier General Heidari, in this meeting, emphasized the strategic position of the Passive Defense Organization in maintaining national preparedness and increasing the country's stability during critical conditions. He deemed the continuation of effective activities, improvement of services, and development of inter-organizational cooperation as essential and expressed hope that this process, by utilizing scientific and modern methods, would lead to an increase in the country's deterrence capability and immunity against future threats.
The Deputy Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) Headquarters, pointing to the vital nature of passive defense, stated: "Passive defense is not merely the duty of a specific organization; rather, it is a strategic necessity to guarantee the continued provision of services to the people under threat and crisis conditions. The experience of the 12-day war clearly showed that we need the strategic thinking of passive defense to be institutionalized in the country's executive bodies."
At the end of the meeting, support for joint cooperation programs between the Central Headquarters of Hazrat Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) and the Passive Defense Organization was emphasized.
